This phrase has been said since the beginning of time. As I was reading the paper tonight I realized just how true it was. Unfortunately it was a sad story that I was reading involving an accident that happened in Florida. A man was struck by a car and killed early one morning. It happened early one morning and the lives of the two men involved will never be the same. One is dead and the other one is going to jail. It made me cry because of the circumstances involving the accident. The man who is going to jail had been out all night at different bars and a friends house but was headed home. The one who was struck was working all night but was also headed home. For some reason I just couldn’t help but think that if only their roads didn’t cross. How different both of their lives would be if only one had left 5 minutes earlier or later. Life is so cruel at times.
