This week is the county fair out in Wilson County. They only charge about $10 to get in and there is enough going on to keep you busy and entertained for 5 – 6 hours. You can especially have many hours of fun if you buy a wristband for unlimited rides. They have exhibits, contests and concerts, too. It sounds like a lot of fun and if the weather is not too rainy or awful hot I will go on Saturday to check it out.

Bananas
Today I saw a commercial for Chiquita bananas. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a commercial for bananas before! It was such a surprise to see a banana commercial that I don’t even remember what they were saying except that Chiquita bananas are shipped quickly so that we get the freshest bananas. And at the end they were advertising a new Chiquita product, fresh pineapple spears packaged individually for a healthy fresh snack.
Gang of Rabbits
There is a gang of rabbits in our neighborhood. Evidently the few that were here in the spring were very fertile. We have dozens of these little critters hopping around the yards at night. Most of the rabbits seem to come out from hiding just as the sun is going down.
They hop away so fast there is no hope of counting them, but I know that last night there were at least 7 or 8 in my front yard alone. That’s a lot of rabbits!
