Next weekend is the Talladega NASCAR race. My girlfriend, Chris, has gone to that race every year since she was 10 years old. Her mother lives about 15 minutes from the race track, so she always has a free place to sleep. That makes it really easy to go away for a weekend of racing fun!

Teenager Attitudes
Spent the day with my sister and her two daughters. Whew – it wasn’t that long ago that I was a teenager, but I don’t remember having as bad an attitude as these two girls displayed. Is it the times or my bad memory?

I have always loved the name April. I hope to someday have a daughter and I will name her April. I might let her daddy pick out the middle name, but her first name will be April.
