Some of the friends I’ve met through the online social systems are from all over the world. Quite a few of them are German and speak very little English. Of course we try the best we can to communicate as I’ve learned a bit of German from my brother who has been stationed all over Europe and his daughters who speak 6 languages. But from what I’ve been told, there are various sectors that some of the language is different. My niece suggested a translation service. I found when I used one once, my statement turned out to be nothing I intended to write and it was embarrassing but thankfully my friend had a good sense of humor and told me of my mistake as I had been complimenting her outfit. LOL! I really didn’t want to make more mistakes like that though.
I also checked out those learn it on line courses or disks and found they were very expensive. None of the Jr. collages around this area teach German and I wanted to look into translation services that were affordable, accurate and easy to use. From informal conversations to full intelligent conversations of the various regions my friend were from. It was rather mind boggling to try and pick one out that was accurate also. That last word means “translation company” in German! I found it’s so easy to use a good translator. You should try it!
