I keep getting these emails from travel agencies, and I am seriously thinking about taking one. It is so hard to choose though. The Caribbean is beautiful with the white beaches and exotic food and drinks, but it is already hurricane season down there. Then there is Vegas. I wouldn’t mind a trip to Vegas as there is so much to do and see, but Alaska hold the most fascination. It is the PERFECT time of year for an Alaskan vacation. After all, they have the most beautiful summers of any where. Like I said…so hard to choose. =)

Need to switch banks
I really do not like the bank I have right now. They make so many mistakes on my account, it is unbelievable. I deposit a payroll check that is drawn off of an account from the same back and they erroneously hold the check. Ugh ! So then I had to wait forever for the money to clear so I could access it. What kind of mistake is that. Seriously? ! The people there are so very incompetent. I like the branch manager though. Which is why I haven’t changed banks yet. He is very nice and helpful, but I believe he needs to fire a few people and rehire a more competent staff. It would make BOTH of our lives easier…lol
New nail polish
I love this new nail polish i just bought. It’s a pretty light blue with a glittery sheen. It matches perfectly the cool summer skirt I bought last year and only wore twice…lol Now I need a pair of white sandals to go with the tank top I wear with the skirt and the outfit will be complete. Hmmm…perhaps I’ll go shopping later for them. Hooray for shopping… *smiles*
The crazy weather lately
Wow ! The craziness of the weather lately is amazing. Tornadoes in parts of the country that do not usually see any, let alone with the strength of the ones we have been seeing. Mother nature is surely venting her spleen. I feel so badly for those affected by the disasters. They have just lost everything, including family members. I hope the weather calms down for the rest of the year, but I sincerely doubt it.
Cell phones for little kids?
Seriously? Can someone explain to me WHY a child of eight years old needs a cell phone. This is preposterous. What kind of world are we living in? All of the new high tech gadgets out there and we inundate our children with grown up stuff they really shouldn’t have. They should be playing with Barbie dolls and Tonka Trucks, not talking and texting on cell phones. *shakes my head* I think we should allow children to be children already.
