Shoes equal heaven

I collect shoes. I know people can only wear one pair of shoes at a time, but I have one whole unit my husband built me to my specs, that hold my shoes. I have boots, sandals, work boots, shoes I’ve never worn…you get the picture. My problem is that I take a size anywhere between a three in children’s or even a 7 in women’s shoes, and it all depends on the style and fit. I am constantly now looking online for shoes that are unique and I can’t find around this area.

When we were first married, my husband was a bit “put out” about all of my shoes. I think most men are. They can’t understand why we women need so many shoes. It’s because we do. At least I do, and I believe it’s carried on to both of my daughters and even my oldest son. I did find a great place to get the Frye woman’s engineer boots, that I was looking for, as I needed some very durable boots to wear when riding my motorcycle. There are even more feminine styles then the classic guy style, which I like. Of course I let my fingers do more “look shopping” and then came across Miz Moon Heather Green Sandals. I wear a lot of green, so these are on my must have list.

What impressed me is the selection of styles and makes of the shoes. Everyone has to have at least one pair of red shoes or boots, in my opinion. You know… the Dorthy and Oz thing. ;) I have five, but went looking for more, of course. I also checked out Sebago shoes and though I can only limit myself to at the maximum two pair of shoes or boots every few months, I am indeed going to look more closely at these awesome shoes!

Outside the home job

I totally dread going back to my out of the home job tomorrow. I’ve been off for a month…health issues, and now I’m going back. I love my job, don’t get me wrong. It is just that during the past month I have started sorting, throwing away, and organizing things in my house and am not nearly finished. I’m afraid that it’s not going to be finished. Yes I indeed have a few kids and a husband, but to be honest and truthful, once I am not here, they think the job is done. Wrong. I’ll have to wait and see how this goes, as it is now also time to start with the little kids and the grand kids Halloween costumes and a lot of planning, but I can’t start dragging out all my material and sewing things until I have room to do so. This to me is a major drag and concern. :(
