Learning about micro expressions is a topic that I am really interested in. It’s sort of like learning what a person is saying without them talking, just by looking at their facial expressions. This can come in handy in a lot of various situations, with people who you are conversing with. I believe by learning people’s facial expressions, one can tell what a person is really trying to communicate if they can’t put certain things into words. the whole “trick” is to be in tune, aware and to look!
I’ve known so many people who have not looked me in the eye when they are speaking to me, or I am speaking to them. I dislike it intensely. It is like this person is either lying or they have a lot to hide. With my job and the people I deal with day in and day out, human psychology plays a big role in judging a person and what they are about. Not that I like to use the word judging, but sometimes one must have to. Using facial expressions is sometimes the only way I can tell what a person is really about.
I’m a believer in watching a person who I am speaking with, and catching facial expressions out. One can tell if the other person is angry and holding it in, Sad and wants to talk, silent and doesn’t want to be questioned or even approached. The list can go on and it indeed helps in any kind of profession or situation when dealing with people. It would be a plus for someone to take the time to learn these various facial signs, and also could be helpful in understanding and dealing with certain moods even on a more personal basis.
