Today my sister Colleen is celebrating her 42nd birthday! I can’t believe my sister is 42 years old. I remember her being a child and a teenager, but it’s so hard to picture her as a 42 year-old woman. With this birthday comes a lot of reason to celebrate. For the past couple of years she has been dealing with all kinds of different medical issues. The doctors even told her recently that she had no longer than 2 years to live. Fortuantely enough her diagnosis has changed over the past couple of months. Just recently a doctor from John Hopkins told her she was fine and that she has her life back. That the diagnosis was incorrect. What a blessing it is to know that she will be with us for many more years. Hopefully healthy and happy as I remember her.
