Apple has done it again. They are releasing a new phone called the iPhone 3G. If you can remember back to last year around this time Apple released the first iPhone. People were waiting in line for hours to purchase this phone. The stores were running out of them faster than they could replace them. I can remember vividly how everybody was talking about the greatest thing out there called the iPhone.
Twelve months later a newer and better model has arrived. Not only does this phone offer everything that the original iPhone offered but more. The iPhone 3G gives much faster access to data over cell phone networks. We can give thanks to the upgraded technology called 3G for that. Not only is the new model faster, but it offers new features as well, including an address book and calendar. Basically you are getting an amazing phone with amazing features as well. I now know what my next purchase will be.
I think it is ridiculous that all the enthusiastic new buyers had to wait in very long lines to buy the new iPhones and then after all that hype and anticipation the people on the back end totally dropped the ball and no one could get activated or upgraded. Their network went into total gridlock.
How can all these grossly overpaid high level managers not anticipate a huge network demand? Everyone involved in the gridlock problem should be fired and tossed out with the garbage. For the high prices and expected level of customer service, this was a total farce.
