Sprucing up for Fall

Already the leaves are starting to fall off my big maple tree and it’s time to start thinking about getting ready for winter. I can’t believe how fast the summer went. It seems like it just had gotten here and now it’s time to put the gardens to bed, so to speak and get ready for the cold months that I really don’t like.

My youngest daughter will be moving and going off to collage, so her “little” brother is taking over her room. This means painting, no doubt getting new carpet and curtains and also sorting through all his clothing and items and then packing some away, throwing some away, and giving things as donations to charities.

Not only will I be doing some regular shopping, but also online shopping for various items I’ll need to change his room into a “guys room” and also he starts school on the 4th of this month. So his room is getting spruced up, the yard and gardens will be and also I’m thinking about redoing the decor of my office and sewing room It’s going to be a busy few months, but at least it will take my mind off my daughter leaving home.
