Priceless artifacts have been discovered in Florida and are headed back to the country they originated from. These items including gold nose rings, emeralds, and clay vessels were discovered in 2005 in South Florida. We now know that they belong to a country in South America-Columbia.
The items were discovered in a warehouse and it is said that the man that had these items was smuggling then into the United States. Pieces were found from Peru as well as Columbia. All of the items came from ancient graves as old as 2000 years! The 66 year-old man who was selling these items out of his van has been arrested. Some of the pieces were priced as high as $2,000.00. Unfortunately, there is no time set on when the items will make it back to Columbia, but the stolen items from Peru have already been returned.
