This year, I’ve decide to go through the house room by room, and make lists of things that need improved upon in each room. Along with some of the musts, will be the small improvements that I want to do.
Painting is going to be one of the major improvements that I plan on making. Each room needs to be scrubbed down and walls need to be primed and painted. I’d like to buy new curtains and some blinds also.
My bathroom needs a complete overhaul and that will be in the works in a few weeks. I have to think on a budget and most of the improvements are going to be my own project in the “do it yourself” catagory. I’m pretty handy with these kinds of things, as my dad and grandfather along with my first husband who passed on, taught my a great deal, since they all were in carpentry, construction and building. Hopefully, I’ve not forgotten what I learned from them.
