Outside furniture

A couple friends were telling me about the outside furniture, like unusual shaped and very cool picnic tables, unlike the regular standard run of the mill ones. So since I’ve been looking for something different and I like unusual things for my back yard to go with my gardens and garden “pretties” I decided to check them out. Very cool! I like my friends liked the recycled plastic ones. Not only are they durable and won’t rot, which is a plus, they actually look classy and not like the standard ones that a person thinks of when talking of a picnic table.

Also what is a great idea are the park benches. These are just not for parks, believe me. My old one was wooden and iron, sort of fancy and within three years it rotted and the boards all cracked and split apart. It was really pricy and I wasn’t about to get another one, until I saw these. They too are Eco Friendly like the tables. The price is right and I need another one because I like the looks of them in my back gardens under the trees. These too don’t look like the standard “park bench” either.

Since I collect rocking chairs in my house, but never had one for my big front porch, I saw the perfect Andirondak chairs and one of the styles is rocking chairs! These are made of the same material as the table and bench, and since I collect rockers this is a must have! My birthday is coming up. It’s on my list!

I need organization

With a houseful of kids, one who is graduated and back home, one that is 18 and still in school and a 14 year old, who also is in school, it makes for one heck of a majorly crowded living space. The “boys” have now been forced to share a room with is not good. Both have different living habits now and though it is the biggest bedroom in the house and has one of the two closets here also, they need a place to put their belongings and I need to find that something. A friend suggested kids lockers.

Now I know that they aren’t exactly kids anymore, but they are my kids, if that makes sense. They are also cramped and I’m tired of the bedroom being a disaster,  the fights and non-organization. The solution would indeed be to get a couple of the lockers for kids that I have been looking at. They would each have their own “space” and it sure would tidy the room up some.

My daughter has a smaller room and the closet has both her’s and my things in it. I really need to clean that out, throw away clothes and get some boxes out of there and up into the attic. The young adults don’t know these are children’s lockers, right? I mean, they don’t look like little kids items,  they hold one heck of a lot,  and they will organize all the clothes and junk my young adults collect. Heck, I might even get one for myself! :)
